- Provider records are normalized into shared player, club, career, statistic, nationality, position, and achievement structures.
- Duplicate provider identities are reconciled so one real footballer cannot be used twice.
- Senior-appearance checks exclude youth and national teams from club-career logic.
- Confidence and recognition rules remove incomplete records from modes requiring fair, familiar answers.
- Automated checks generate rounds and grids to test solvability, variety, chronology, and answer validity.
Limits and rights
Sources may be incomplete or disagree. Club naming, loans, positions, nationalities, statistics, and historical context can vary. Images and trademarks may have rights separate from factual records. Before public or commercial release, PitchIQ must confirm rights and provider terms for each feed, crest, photo, competition mark, and other protected asset.
Report a correction
Every playable game has Report incorrect data. Include the affected player or item, what appears wrong, and the correct information if known. Reports enter the owner review queue.
